Projects
The typical life cycle of a project looks like this: idea → research → active development → closed. Actually, the project can be closed before development is even started, and it would still be present at this page because the research is done and it could be useful for upcoming projects.
Under development / supported
Currently active projects with roadmaps:
- «Raindrop» wiki syntax + parser (since 2007)
- A set of Django applications (since 2008)
- Neithere's place
- Website of Faculty of Intl. Relations, USU (since 2000)
- todo: upcoming events
- SDA Ekb (since 2008)
- SprachLernZentrum Jekaterinburg (since 2008)
- IC (since 2008)
Research
Experiments and playgrounds without time constraints:
- Agile Knowledge Management Engine
- The Tool — organizer and project management framework
details to come; the concept has been discussed with some smart developers and has a secret wiki-page =)
Ideas
Grouped random ideas that some day may be implemented after some research is done:
- Organizer as an idea-to-task-tracker: project { idea → task}, etc. (see post in my blog)
hmm, looks like the (idea→research→devel→closed) cycle can be expressed through XP's (story→spike→iterations→release). I'll try to create a more or less universal and simple project management software (in Feb, 2008 I made its base in two evenings) and publish the results — and code, if the results are ok.
Closed (done or abandoned)
- Advanced Content Management Engine (Acme)
abandoned in favour of Django; some ideas are developed within AKME.
The response codes idea was somewhat replaced with ordinary exceptions (in Perl that was a problem). - Pyqwik
a simple wiki engine; was actually just a playground, and its formatter has been adapted to Django - A bunch of websites; most of them are perfectly alive but my work is done:
- Synthetica 100%
- NovoeTV
- etc. (including html/css coding and other partial work)
- Ekaterinburg Municipal Register of Population = Муниципальный Регистр Населения г. Екатеринбурга (2006—2007)
Data processing and storing system. Local implementation of regional layer of the new unified federal database.
Architecture (parts), algorithms, coding.
FreeBSD+Perl+MySQL.
